Nature's International Certification Services is a new organic certification agency founded by David Engel in June of 2005 to serve organic producers and processors/handlers worldwide. NICS is located in Viroqua, WI. NICS employs the USDA's National Organic Program regulations to assess organic producers' (including crops, wild crops and livestock operations,) and processor/handlers' abilities to implement, comply and carry out the terms and conditions determined for organic management and products.

The North Carolina Crop Improvement Association (NCCIA) is a non-profit educational and service organization recognized as the official agency for seed certification in North Carolina. Certification is a system of records, inspections, and standards.

The purpose of the New Mexico Organic Program is to provide certification services and marketing assistance for organic producers, processors and retailers; and information, education and marketplace protection for consumers. Our aim is to be an effective advocate for organic production in New Mexico; to make the certification process accessible; and to rigorously ensure the truthfulness of organic claims made.

The New Jersey Department of Agriculture's Organic Certification Program has a series of Guidance Documents production (farming) and handling (food processing) clients can use to learn about some of the requirements found in 7 CFR, Part 205, the National Organic Program; Final Rule. Guidance Documents explain what is required by or what is meant by a specific regulation within the rule. Often, specific requirements NJDA may have for their clients to document or verify compliance with a particular rule can be found within the Guidance Documents.

The mission of the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food is to promote agriculture in the public interest and to serve farmers and consumers in the marketplace. The department assures safe and healthy food supplies, provides accurate information on prices and availability of farm commodities and crops and develops markets for the state's farmers.

The Nevada Organic Certification Program is designed to provide assurance to consumers who purchase organic products that the products were grown according to organic standards. Certification also benefits Nevada's producers and handlers of organic agricultural products by providing an in-state certification service for organic certification. Nevada's law applies to organically produced agricultural products, including fruit and vegetables, fiber and livestock feeds. An agricultural product may not be sold in Nevada as organic unless it is certified organic.
